so eva and i've been married for about 4 months. we've been discovering things (some strange) about each other since then. weird how this stuff never came out before we got married.

1. sleep - eva sleeps alot. if there were no alarm clocks or school or work, i think she'd be
asleep, well, indefinitely. she waits about 20 seconds before she absolutely has to
go to work to get out of bed. for some reason, she always manages to get to work on
time. if i did that, i'd probably hit traffic everyday and get fired for being late. how does
she do it? i dont know. she's not lazy, just sleepy. i, on the other hand, am both.

2. sniffing - above all senses, the nose is king for eva. she smells everything: food, dirty laundry,
clean laundry, sofas, carpet... anything. she really doesn't even use her sense of
sight that often. somehow she can get up at night and get water, get to the
restroom, find a pager hidden in some bag, and other random things that require alot
of dexterity without turning on one light. how? i still don't know. maybe she's got
superpowers or something.

3. chinese medicine - eva likes soup. that i knew from dating her. she'd take noodle soup over
just about any other food if she had the chance. but i've discovered she
drinks alot of chinese medicine soup. you know, the strong smelly
stuff that old chinese people cook in clay pots. except she's not taking it
because she's sick. she likes the taste of it. between her drinking chinese
medicine soup for the taste of it and me never driving over 55 mph on the
freeway, we're officially old chinese people. all we need to do now is
go the park in our pj's and do tai chi at 6:00 am everyday.

4. tv - couldn't have found 2 people with more different tv watching habits. i could watch tv
for months on end with no breaks. eva can't watch more than a 30 minute show before
she has to get up and do something else. she watches oprah, the view, and the food
network. i watch espn, the history channel.... who am i kidding? i watch anything. if there's
nothing on, i just flip stations for long enough and i'll find something. might take
a couple of hours, but i'm a persistent guy. i can hold out for hours just changing channels
through bad tv.

anyway, i got to go watch some tv

Welcome to the blogging world.

Re: #4, may I suggest investing in a DVR? That gives you the ability to record up to 100 hrs of television, so you can record all your favorite shows and watch them, skipping through commercials. No more flipping through bad TV!
